A Florida man was arrested immediately after he was accused of bringing a loaded gun to his son’s faculty soon after acquiring a simply call from the boy stating that his teacher experienced physically assaulted him.
According to his arrest report, 27-yr-outdated Christopher Freeman showed up at Bear Lakes Middle University in West Palm Seashore Monday (Mar. 11) and was visibly upset around an incident involving his son.
The school’s Assistant Principal informed police he experienced known as Freeman earlier in the working day, and Freeman advised him: “If this is not my son, you’re all lifeless.”
A university resource officer mentioned he observed Freeman in entrance of the primary workplace with a gun sticking out of his trousers.
“I want to see the guy who slammed my son. I have bought a little something for him,” Freeman said, according to his arrest report.
At that stage, the university was put on a Code Crimson lockdown as officers searched Freeman, who was discovered with a loaded Romarm/Cugir AK-47 Mini Draco pistol. He was arrested on the place.
Freeman mentioned the explanation why he came to the school so upset was that his son termed him on FaceTime crying, declaring that a teacher had slammed him.
Freeman mentioned he did not know he experienced the weapon on him mainly because he carries it all the time for protection, and he did not intend to hurt any person.
The father is dealing with a variety of fees, such as possession of a firearm on university grounds, aggravated assault, and disruption of a university purpose.
If Freeman posts bond, which is $75,000, he’ll be put on residence arrest and should remain at the very least 500 toes from any Palm Seashore County College. He’ll also not be allowed to have any weapons or have any contact with witnesses.
